Lacy Shrug

I wanted to make an actual garment after having made scarves and shawls, so a shrug is the next step up. No seaming or sleeves to worry about. Shrugs are basically a big rectangle.

You fold it and then add ribbing to create “sleeves” and the body/neck hole.

It will look nice over a summer dress. This pattern is the Something Lacy Shrug from Cascade Yarns.

Don’t look too closely – you’ll notice my lace pattern isn’t quite right. It repeats a bit too early so that the leaf shapes aren’t properly formed. Oh well! *shrug* I think it still looks good enough to wear.
